Bible【theonebb.com】【bibletheone.com】the one bible study what is faith (3/4)

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.Make every effort to present yourself before God as one who is worthy of his approval, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, but who imparts the word of truth without any alteration.
But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled.Yet even if you should suffer for doing what is right, you are thereby blessed. Have no fear of others, and refuse to be intimidated by them.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.But without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever comes to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. What is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit.
He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour. The one who leads a blameless life and does what is right, who speaks the truth from the heart and does not slander anyone, who does not harm a friend and does not scorn a neighbor.
Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.Pay to each person what is rightfully his—taxes to the one to whom taxes are due, tolls to the one to whom tolls are due, respect to the one to whom respect is due, honor to the one to whom honor is due.
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. Therefore, while we have the opportunity, let us labor for the good of all, but especially for those members of the household of the faith.
We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners, yet we know that a man is justified not by the works of the Law but through faith in Jesus Christ. So we too came to believe in Christ Jesus so that we might be justified by faith in him and not by the works of the Law, for no one will be justified by the works of the Law.
Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.Abba, Father, for you all things are possible. Take this cup from me. Yet not my will but yours be done.
So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.Therefore, we can say with confidence: “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can anyone do to me?”
Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you? If he is not, then you have failed the test.
But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. But as for you, man of God, you must shun all this. Rather, pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, fortitude, and gentleness.
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. The love of money is the root of all evils, and in their desire for it some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many serious wounds.
And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.Jesus said to him, “Go on your way! Your faith has made you well.” Immediately, he received his sight and followed him along the road.
Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.Let no one regard you with contempt because of your youth, but serve as an example to the believers in your speech and conduct, in your love, your faith, and your purity.
But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.However, whoever lives by the truth comes to the light so that it may be clearly seen that his deeds have been done in God.
What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? What then if you were to behold the Son of Man ascend to where he was before?
When goods increase, they are increased that eat them: and what good is there to the owners thereof, saving the beholding of them with their eyes? When riches increase, so do those who are eager to accumulate them, and those who have accumulated them must remain content simply to feast their eyes on them.
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and man, Christ Jesus, himself a man.
For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established; That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.For I am longing to see you so that I may bestow on you some spiritual gift to strengthen you— or, rather, so that we may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith, both yours and mine.
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?Do not associate with unbelievers. For what basis can there be for a partnership between righteousness and lawlessness? What do light and darkness have in common?
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?What then can we say in response to all this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.Jesus answered them, “Amen, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only will you do what has been done to this fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ it will be accomplished.”
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.He answered, “Because you have such little faith. Amen, I say to you, if you have faith as tiny as a mustard seed, you will be able to say to this mountain: ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. But according to Scripture all things have been confined under sin, so that through faith in Jesus Christ what was promised might be given to those who believe.

Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.Turn away from youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, together with those who call on the Lord with a pure heart.
