| Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. | Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. |

| Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. | Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe. | The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe. |

| But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened.” | But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.” |
| Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up. | Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification. |
