Coming after me (3/4)

  • Do not lie to one another, since you stripped off the old self with its evil practices, and have put on the new self, which is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created it.
  • And He, when He comes, will convict the world regarding sin, and righteousness, and judgment.
  • One who pursues righteousness and loyalty
    Finds life, righteousness, and honor.
  • Make me know Your ways, Lord;
    Teach me Your paths.
  • And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.
  • For if you truly amend your ways and your deeds, if you truly practice justice between a person and his neighbor, if you do not oppress the stranger, the orphan, or the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place, nor follow other gods to your own ruin, then I will let you live in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers forever and ever.
  • But there is nothing covered up that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known.
  • Now the birth of Jesus the Messiah was as follows: when His mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be pregnant by the Holy Spirit.
  • Therefore let’s make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following the same example of disobedience.
  • But flee from these things, you man of God, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.
  • Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; the one who believes in Me will live, even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?”
  • Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, set your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
  • Keep deception and lies far from me,
    Give me neither poverty nor riches;
    Feed me with the food that is my portion.
  • For those who are in accord with the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are in accord with the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
  • And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you; for this is My blood of the covenant, which is being poured out for many for forgiveness of sins.”
  • Create in me a clean heart, God,
    And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
  • I sought the Lord and He answered me,
    And rescued me from all my fears.
  • Search me, God, and know my heart;
    Put me to the test and know my anxious thoughts;
    And see if there is any hurtful way in me,
    And lead me in the everlasting way.
  • Just as the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, the one who eats Me, he also will live because of Me.
  • Go, gather all the Jews who are found in Susa, and fast for me; do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my attendants also will fast in the same way. And then I will go in to the king, which is not in accordance with the law; and if I perish, I perish.
  • And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they did not stop teaching and preaching the good news of Jesus as the Christ.
  • And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
  • Truly, truly I say to you, the one who receives anyone I send, receives Me; and the one who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.
  • For though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage battle according to the flesh.
  • But when he had thought this over, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife; for the Child who has been conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.”

If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also; if anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.

Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him.Next verse!With image
