Coming of Jesus (4/4)

  • For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
  • Jesus then said, “I will be with you a little longer, and then I am going to him who sent me.”
  • Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.
  • But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
  • But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.
  • Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.”
  • So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.
  • Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
  • And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
  • Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
  • But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
  • We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners; yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.
  • And he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here. See the place where they laid him.”
  • She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.
  • When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, “It is finished,” and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
  • Jesus looked at them and said, “With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.”
  • Looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
  • And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they did not cease teaching and preaching that the Christ is Jesus.
  • Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand.
  • But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.
  • And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment.
  • And Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” And they cast lots to divide his garments.
  • Who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began.

Bible verse of the day

For while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.
