For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ. | Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Therefore you shall keep My commandments, and perform them: I am the Lord. | Keep my commands and follow them. I am the Lord. |

And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. | Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. |
He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God? | He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. |
I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, And in His word I do hope. | I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope. |

And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you. | May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you. |
Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? | Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? |
And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good? | Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? |
Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know. | Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know. |
But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, “Do not be afraid; only believe, and she will be made well.” | Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.” |

Riches do not profit in the day of wrath, But righteousness delivers from death. | Wealth is worthless in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death. |
Do not envy the oppressor, And choose none of his ways; For the perverse person is an abomination to the Lord, But His secret counsel is with the upright. | Do not envy the violent or choose any of their ways. For the Lord detests the perverse but takes the upright into his confidence. |
