Most certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father. | Amen, amen, I say to you, the one who believes in me will also do the works that I do, and indeed will do even greater ones than these, because I am going to the Father. |
Depart from evil, and do good. Seek peace, and pursue it. | Shun evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. |

Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it. | Do not withhold kindness from anyone to whom it is due when it is in your power to grant it. |
He who calls you is faithful, who will also do it. | The one who calls you is faithful, and he will accomplish this. |
To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to Yahweh than sacrifice. | To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. |
Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. | Whatever you ask in my name I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. |

So that with good courage we say, “The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?” | Therefore, we can say with confidence: “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can anyone do to me?” |

Therefore, when you do merciful deeds, don’t sound a trumpet before yourself, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may get glory from men. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward. | Therefore, whenever you give alms, do not trumpet your generosity, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets in order to win the praise of others. Amen, I say to you, they have already received their reward. |
Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but don’t consider the beam that is in your own eye? | Why do you take note of the splinter in your brother’s eye but do not notice the wooden plank in your own eye? |
