Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Doctrine'
- You, however, must teach what is appropriate to sound doctrine.
- I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them.
- Jesus answered, “My teaching is not my own. It comes from the one who sent me.”
- Teach slaves to be subject to their masters in everything, to try to please them, not to talk back to them, and not to steal from them, but to show that they can be fully trusted, so that in every way they will make the teaching about God our Savior attractive.
- They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
- We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine that conforms to the gospel concerning the glory of the blessed God, which he entrusted to me.
- Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God, instruction about cleansing rites, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.
- Let my teaching fall like rain
and my words descend like dew,
like showers on new grass,
like abundant rain on tender plants. - All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
- Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.
May the Lord our God be with us as he was with our ancestors; may he never leave us nor forsake us. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.Next verse! With image
