And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.Let’s not become discouraged in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not become weary.
Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.Therefore, encourage one another and build one another up, just as you also are doing.
Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.But Jesus was saying, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.” And they cast lots, dividing His garments among themselves.
But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.But when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your charitable giving will be in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.
Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.Let love of the brothers and sisters continue. Do not neglect hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.
If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: Then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.If, because of the Sabbath, you restrain your foot From doing as you wish on My holy day, And call the Sabbath a pleasure, and the holy day of the Lord honorable, And honor it, desisting from your own ways, From seeking your own pleasure And speaking your own word, Then you will take delight in the Lord, And I will make you ride on the heights of the earth; And I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father, For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.
But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.But one who has looked intently at the perfect law, the law of freedom, and has continued in it, not having become a forgetful hearer but an active doer, this person will be blessed in what he does.
But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled.But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. And do not fear their intimidation, and do not be in dread.
Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.As for the things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.
Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil.Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Remove the evil of your deeds from My sight. Stop doing evil.
And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the Lord; though he wist it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.Now if a person sins and does any of the things which the Lord has commanded not to be done, though he was unaware, he is still guilty and shall bear his punishment.
For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.For the desire of the flesh is against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, in order to keep you from doing whatever you want.
Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?Woe to the one who quarrels with his Maker— A piece of pottery among the other earthenware pottery pieces! Will the clay say to the potter, ‘What are you doing?’ Or the thing you are making say, ‘He has no hands’?
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.Therefore you have no excuse, you foolish person, everyone of you who passes judgment; for in that matter in which you judge someone else, you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things.
I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.I delight to do Your will, my God; Your Law is within my heart.
Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.But the one who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds will be revealed as having been performed in God.
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.
For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing.
Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility consider one another as more important than yourselves.
Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.Because by the works of the Law none of mankind will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes knowledge of sin.
And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn. And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful? And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him? How he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the shewbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him? And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.And it happened that He was passing through the grainfields on the Sabbath, and His disciples began to make their way along while picking the heads of grain. The Pharisees were saying to Him, “Look, why are they doing what is not lawful on the Sabbath?” And He said to them, “Have you never read what David did when he was in need and he and his companions became hungry; how he entered the house of God in the time of Abiathar the high priest, and ate the consecrated bread, which is not lawful for anyone to eat except the priests, and he also gave it to those who were with him?” Jesus said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. So the Son of Man is Lord, even of the Sabbath.”
And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publicly, and from house to house.How I did not shrink from declaring to you anything that was beneficial, and teaching you publicly and from house to house.

But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to keep many people alive.
