Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Enough'
- Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.”
- For which one of you, when he wants to build a tower, does not first sit down and calculate the cost, to see if he has enough to complete it?
- So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
- Do not weary yourself to gain wealth;
Stop dwelling on it. - “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and put Me to the test now in this,” says the Lord of armies, “if I do not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows.”
- One who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor one who loves abundance with its income. This too is futility.
- For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is life not more than food, and the body more than clothing?
- Do not worry about your life, as to what you are to eat; nor for your body, as to what you are to wear. For life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.
- In the same way, faith also, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.
- Keep deception and lies far from me,
Give me neither poverty nor riches;
Feed me with the food that is my portion. - In My Father’s house are many rooms; if that were not so, I would have told you, because I am going there to prepare a place for you.
- But whoever has worldly goods and sees his brother or sister in need, and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God remain in him?
- And God is able to make all grace overflow to you, so that, always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed.
- For we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it, either. If we have food and covering, with these we shall be content.
- And He said to them, “Because of your meager faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”
You will be enriched in everything for all liberality, which through us is producing thanksgiving to God. Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. A prayer of a righteous person, when it is brought about, can accomplish much.Next verse!With image
