- Behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth. And you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spoke concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one word of them has failed.
- Let no one seek his own, but each one the other’s well-being.
- Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.
- For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.
- Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord! - For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.
- Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification.
- You are all fair, my love,
And there is no spot in you. - Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
- O my soul, you have said to the Lord,
“You are my Lord,
My goodness is nothing apart from You.” - Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
- For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
- This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him,
And saved him out of all his troubles. - The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord,
And He delights in his way. - For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.
- Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back.
- Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent.
- And He said to them, “Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.”
- If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
- Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.
- Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth! - Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
- Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.
- Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
- Thus says the Lord of hosts:
‘Execute true justice,
Show mercy and compassion
Everyone to his brother.
Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless,
The alien or the poor.
Let none of you plan evil in his heart
Against his brother.’
