- Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth! - Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
Let Your glory be above all the earth. - Be exalted, O God, above the heavens,
And Your glory above all the earth. - And in that day you will say:
“Praise the Lord, call upon His name;
Declare His deeds among the peoples,
Make mention that His name is exalted.” - Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear.
- Yours, O Lord, is the greatness,
The power and the glory,
The victory and the majesty;
For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours;
Yours is the kingdom, O Lord,
And You are exalted as head over all. - Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth.
- When they had pasture, they were filled;
They were filled and their heart was exalted;
Therefore they forgot Me. - Therefore the Lord will wait, that He may be gracious to you;
And therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you.
For the Lord is a God of justice;
Blessed are all those who wait for Him. - As for the Almighty, we cannot find Him;
He is excellent in power,
In judgment and abundant justice;
He does not oppress. - For thus says the High and Lofty One
Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy:
“I dwell in the high and holy place,
With him who has a contrite and humble spirit,
To revive the spirit of the humble,
And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.” - Let the lowly brother glory in his exaltation, but the rich in his humiliation, because as a flower of the field he will pass away.
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
He is the King of glory. Selah So we may boldly say:
“The Lord is my helper;
I will not fear.
What can man do to me?”Next verse!With image
