- I, even I, am He who comforts you.
Who are you that you should be afraid
Of a man who will die,
And of the son of a man who will be made like grass? - Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
- But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.
- Your word I have hidden in my heart,
That I might not sin against You. - Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.”
- Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.”

They are upright, like a palm tree,

Because they cannot go by themselves.
Do not be afraid of them,
For they cannot do evil,
Nor can they do any good. - But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.”
- And if you say in your heart, ‘How shall we know the word which the Lord has not spoken?’— when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.
- Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus.”
- But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”
A wise son makes a glad father,
But a foolish son is the grief of his mother. But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.Next verse! With image
