Oh how great is your goodness, which you have laid up for those who fear you, which you have worked for those who take refuge in you, before the sons of men! | How great is your goodness, O Lord, which you have stored up for those who fear you and which you bestow on those who take refuge in you, in the presence of all the people. |

Encouraged by the Holy Spirit, the Church grew in numbers. |
Yahweh is on my side. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? | With the Lord to protect me I am not afraid. What can mortals do to me? |
But to you who fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in its wings. You will go out and leap like calves of the stall. | But for you who fear my name the sun of justice will arise with its healing rays. You will emerge leaping like calves released from the stall. |
Blessed is everyone who fears Yahweh, who walks in his ways. | Blessed are all those who fear the Lord and walk in his ways. |
But Yahweh’s loving kindness is from everlasting to everlasting with those who fear him, his righteousness to children’s children, to those who keep his covenant, to those who remember to obey his precepts. | But from everlasting to everlasting the kindness of the Lord is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children, with those who keep his covenant and diligently observe his commandments. |
For I, Yahweh your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I will help you.’ | For I, the Lord, am your God and I grasp your right hand. It is I who say to you, Do not fear; I will help you. |
Praise Yah! Blessed is the man who fears Yahweh, who delights greatly in his commandments. | Alleluia. Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in his precepts. |
Now, Israel, what does Yahweh your God require of you, but to fear Yahweh your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, and to serve Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your soul, to keep Yahweh’s commandments and statutes, which I command you today for your good? | And so now, O Israel, what does the Lord, your God, require of you but to fear the Lord, your God, to walk in all of his ways, to love him, to serve the Lord, your God, with all your heart and all your soul, and to observe the commandments and the statutes that I am giving you today for your own good. |
Don’t be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom. | Fear not, little flock, for your Father has chosen to give you the kingdom. |
Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts. Blessed is the man who trusts in Yahweh, and whose confidence is in Yahweh. For he will be as a tree planted by the waters, who spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes, but its leaf will be green, and will not be concerned in the year of drought. It won’t cease from yielding fruit. | Blessed are those who trust in the Lord and whose hope is the Lord. They will be like a tree planted by the water that spreads out its roots to the stream. When the heat comes, it does not fear; its leaves stay green. It is not concerned in a year of drought, and it never fails to bear fruit. |
But Jesus hearing it, answered him, “Don’t be afraid. Only believe, and she will be healed.” | When Jesus heard this, he said, “Do not be afraid. Just have faith, and she will be saved.” |

Yahweh himself is who goes before you. He will be with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be discouraged. | Do not be afraid or dismayed, the Lord will go before you; he will not fail or forsake you. |
I, even I, am he who comforts you. Who are you, that you are afraid of man who shall die, and of the son of man who will be made as grass? | I, I alone, am the one who comforts you. Why then do you fear mortal men who must die, human beings who must perish like grass? |
Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or scared of them, for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. | Be strong and courageous.
