- Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God!
Let your good Spirit lead me
on level ground! - And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
- Preserve me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
- But as for me, I will look to the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation;
my God will hear me. - For you are my rock and my fortress;
and for your name's sake you lead me and guide me. - The Lord is on my side; I will not fear.
What can man do to me? - As for you, O Lord, you will not restrain your mercy from me;
your steadfast love and your faithfulness will ever preserve me! - The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters. - And said to them, “Whoever receives this child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who sent me. For he who is least among you all is the one who is great.”
- For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
- My times are in your hand;
rescue me from the hand of my enemies
and from my persecutors! - Have mercy on me, O God,
according to your steadfast love;
according to your abundant mercy
blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,
and cleanse me from my sin! - But I am the Lord your God
from the land of Egypt;
you know no God but me,
and besides me there is no savior. - Though an army encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear;
though war arise against me,
yet I will be confident. - Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
- I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
- I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
- Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.”
- I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
- O Lord, you have searched me and known me!
You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
you discern my thoughts from afar. - You call me Teacher and Lord, and you are right, for so I am.
- Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love,
for in you I trust.
Make me know the way I should go,
for to you I lift up my soul. - And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.”
- The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed and bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
- For thus says the Lord to the house of Israel: “Seek me and live.”
If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you.You shall serve the Lord your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from among you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.Next verse!With image
