- For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.
- These things God has revealed to us through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.
- Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and we will be satisfied.”
- This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth; you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to act in accordance with all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall be successful.
- For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - And do not bring us to the time of trial,
but rescue us from the evil one. - For who is God except the Lord?
And who is a rock besides our God? - And hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.
- So we have known and believe the love that God has for us.
God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them. - Let us hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who has promised is faithful.
- If we confess our sins, he who is faithful and just will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
- Give us this day our daily bread.
- So teach us to count our days
that we may gain a wise heart. - Jesus said to him, “If you are able!—All things can be done for the one who believes.”
- For so the Lord has commanded us, saying,
‘I have set you to be a light for the Gentiles,
so that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’ - And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
- For just as the sufferings of Christ are abundant for us, so also our consolation is abundant through Christ.
- For we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life.
- The heavens are telling the glory of God;
and the firmament proclaims his handiwork.
Day to day pours forth speech,
and night to night declares knowledge. - O come, let us worship and bow down,
let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker! - Cure the sick who are there, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’
- All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.
- And this is the testimony: God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
- We love because he first loved us.
- For all of us make many mistakes. Anyone who makes no mistakes in speaking is perfect, able to keep the whole body in check with a bridle.
You then, my child, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
