Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.”And he took a cup of wine and gave thanks to God for it. He gave it to them and said, “Each of you drink from it, for this is my blood, which confirms the covenant between God and his people. It is poured out as a sacrifice to forgive the sins of many.”
Whoever would foster love covers over an offense, but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends.Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends.
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.
For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you.
Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.

Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.People who conceal their sins will not prosper, but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy.
You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to you.O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help.
And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too.
Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy.Where is another God like you, who pardons the guilt of the remnant, overlooking the sins of his special people? You will not stay angry with your people forever, because you delight in showing unfailing love.
If your brother or sister sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them. Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying ‘I repent,’ you must forgive them.If another believer sins, rebuke that person; then if there is repentance, forgive. Even if that person wrongs you seven times a day and each time turns again and asks forgiveness, you must forgive.
For the Lord your God is gracious and compassionate. He will not turn his face from you if you return to him.For the Lord your God is gracious and merciful. If you return to him, he will not continue to turn his face from you.
Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously.
He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.He himself is the sacrifice that atones for our sins—and not only our sins but the sins of all the world.
Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin.Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone.
And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.And forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us.
Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity.“Don’t tear your clothing in your grief, but tear your hearts instead.” Return to the Lord your God, for he is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. He is eager to relent and not punish.

Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away.
