- In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.

but delight to show mercy. - For the Lord your God is gracious and compassionate. He will not turn his face from you if you return to him.
- Let the wicked forsake their ways
and the unrighteous their thoughts.
Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them,
and to our God, for he will freely pardon. - He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.
- Then I acknowledged my sin to you
and did not cover up my iniquity.
I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.”
And you forgave the guilt of my sin. - And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors. - Rend your heart
and not your garments.
Return to the Lord your God,
for he is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger and abounding in love,
and he relents from sending calamity. - Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.
- Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.

- Take words with you
and return to the Lord.
Say to him:
“Forgive all our sins
and receive us graciously,
that we may offer the fruit of our lips.” - When God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, he relented and did not bring on them the destruction he had threatened.
Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.” Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
