- In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.
- He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
- Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.
- And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.
- Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
- To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins.
- He who covers a transgression seeks love,
But he who repeats a matter separates friends. - And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.
- For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
- Bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.
- Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”
- If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
- Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
- Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?”
Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.” - He who covers his sins will not prosper,
But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy. - For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive,
And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You. - And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.
- Who is a God like You,
Pardoning iniquity
And passing over the transgression
of the remnant of His heritage?
He does not retain His anger forever,
Because He delights in mercy. - If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.
- For the Lord your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn His face from you if you return to Him.
- Let the wicked forsake his way,
And the unrighteous man his thoughts;
Let him return to the Lord,
And He will have mercy on him;
And to our God,
For He will abundantly pardon. - And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.
- I acknowledged my sin to You,
And my iniquity I have not hidden.
I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,”
And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah - And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors. - So rend your heart, and not your garments;
Return to the Lord your God,
For He is gracious and merciful,
Slow to anger, and of great kindness;
And He relents from doing harm.
Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.May the Lord our God be with us, as He was with our fathers. May He not leave us nor forsake us. Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.Next verse!With image
