- Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace,
whose mind is stayed on thee:
because he trusteth in thee. - Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again; Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
- For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
- Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
- Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
- And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
