The Lord is the stronghold of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid? - The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.
- I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.

and to seek him in his temple. - For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
- However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.
- So that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
- Because your love is better than life,
my lips will glorify you.
I will praise you as long as I live,
and in your name I will lift up my hands.
