- Yet I am the Lord your God
Ever since the land of Egypt,
And you shall know no God but Me;
For there is no savior besides Me. - Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.
- God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble. - Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
- In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.
- Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
- Arise, O Lord!
O God, lift up Your hand!
Do not forget the humble. - So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
- God shall bless us,
And all the ends of the earth shall fear Him. - Now a mediator does not mediate for one only, but God is one.
- O God, You are my God;
Early will I seek You;
My soul thirsts for You;
My flesh longs for You
In a dry and thirsty land
Where there is no water. - Truly my soul silently waits for God;
From Him comes my salvation. - Blessed are the peacemakers,
For they shall be called sons of God. - Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace, goodwill toward men! - Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
- Behold, God is my helper;
The Lord is with those who uphold my life. - My soul, wait silently for God alone,
For my expectation is from Him. - I delight to do Your will, O my God,
And Your law is within my heart. - Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.
- Why are you cast down, O my soul?
And why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God;
For I shall yet praise Him,
The help of my countenance and my God. - Therefore You are great, O Lord God. For there is none like You, nor is there any God besides You, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
- There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.
- So we fasted and entreated our God for this, and He answered our prayer.
- Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.
