They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.‘Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat down on them,’ nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; ‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’ ‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’
And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that.
Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.
Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.
Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.”
Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.
And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good?
Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up.
O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.Fight the good fight of the faith. For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.For, “Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech. They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it.”
