- Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
and his greatness is unsearchable. - Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord,
that delighteth greatly in his commandments. - He only is my rock and my salvation;
he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved. - The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice:
and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him. - My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee;
and my soul, which thou hast redeemed. - Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.
- The Lord is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusted in him, and I am helped:
therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth;
and with my song will I praise him. - I will greatly rejoice in the Lord,
my soul shall be joyful in my God;
for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation,
he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness,
as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments,
and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels. - Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain:
but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. - Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.
- Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us. And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.Next verse!With image
