Bible Verses about 'Hard'

Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything impossible for me to accomplish?
Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee.Ah, Lord God, you made the heavens and the earth by your great power and your outstretched arm. Nothing is impossible for you.
In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury.Diligent labor always yields profit, but idle conversation only leads to poverty.
For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.I am pulled in opposite directions. My desire is to depart and to be with Christ, for that is far better, but, it is a more urgent need for you that I remain in the body.
Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. For this reason, I rejoice when I endure weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and distress for the sake of Christ. For it is when I am weak that I am strong.
The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute.Authority will be granted to the diligent, but the lazy will be enslaved.
Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord.Do not be lacking in zeal, but serve the Lord with spiritual fervor.
With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your precepts.
I called upon the Lord in distress: the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place. In my distress I called out to the Lord; he answered by setting me free.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?Who then can separate us from the love of Christ? Will hardship, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or the sword?
Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase.Wealth hastily acquired will dwindle away, but when amassed little by little, it will increase.
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.Enter through the narrow gate, for the gate is wide and the road broad that leads to destruction, and those who enter through it are many. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and those who find it are few in number.
Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.Be on your guard that you do not lose what we have worked to accomplish so that you will receive your reward in full.
In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him. When things are going well, be grateful for your blessings, and in times of adversity consider this: God has made both of them, so that we cannot predict with confidence what the future holds.
For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. For God would not be so unjust as to ignore your work and the love that you have shown for his name by the services you have rendered to the saints and still continue to render.
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.Make every effort to present yourself before God as one who is worthy of his approval, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, but who imparts the word of truth without any alteration.
Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Therefore, brethren, be diligent in providing a firm foundation for your call and election. If you do this, you will never stumble, and you will receive a glorious welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. If I give away everything to feed the poor and hand over my body to be burned, but do not have love, I achieve nothing.
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and undefiled is this: to come to the aid of orphans and widows in their hardships and to keep oneself untarnished by the world.
For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.Indeed, it is seldom that anyone will die for a just person, although perhaps for a good person someone might be willing to die. Thus, God proved his love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us.

Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
