- Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?
- Ah Lord Yahweh! Behold, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for you.
- In all hard work there is profit,
but the talk of the lips leads only to poverty. - But I am hard pressed between the two, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better. Yet to remain in the flesh is more needful for your sake.
- Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, and in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong.
- The hands of the diligent ones shall rule,
but laziness ends in slave labor. - Not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.
- With my whole heart I have sought you.
Don’t let me wander from your commandments. - Out of my distress, I called on Yah.
Yah answered me with freedom. - Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
- Wealth gained dishonestly dwindles away,
but he who gathers by hand makes it grow. - Enter in by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter in by it. How narrow is the gate and the way is restricted that leads to life! There are few who find it.
- Watch yourselves, that we don’t lose the things which we have accomplished, but that we receive a full reward.
- In the day of prosperity be joyful, and in the day of adversity consider; yes, God has made the one side by side with the other, to the end that man should not find out anything after him.
- For God is not unrighteous, so as to forget your work and the labor of love which you showed toward his name, in that you served the saints, and still do serve them.
- Give diligence to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn’t need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth.
- For one will hardly die for a righteous man. Yet perhaps for a good person someone would even dare to die. But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
- Therefore, brothers, be more diligent to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never stumble. For thus you will be richly supplied with the entrance into the eternal Kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
- If I give away all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but don’t have love, it profits me nothing.
- Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.
Know therefore today, and take it to heart, that Yahweh himself is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath. There is no one else. Finally, all of you be like-minded, compassionate, loving as brothers, tenderhearted, courteous.Next verse! With image
