You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. “Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road. For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked. For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him. The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,ord has anointed me And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. Go, eat your food with gladness, and drink your wine with a joyful heart, for God has already approved what you do. If either of them falls down, Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? These are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. But be sure to fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things he has done for you. Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. Whoever loves money never has enough; And if we are careful to obey all this law before the Lord our God, as he has commanded us, that will be our righteousness. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have. It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
But I trust in your unfailing love;ord ’s praise, If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
