O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever!

He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.Whoever is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.

And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.But he said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage!
Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed. For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.Then the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went in, and he saw and believed; for as yet they did not understand the Scripture, that he must rise from the dead.
