- God is not man, that he should lie,
or a son of man, that he should change his mind.
Has he said, and will he not do it?
Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it? - Our God is in the heavens;
he does all that he pleases. - Seek the Lord while he may be found;
call upon him while he is near. - And he led them out as far as Bethany, and lifting up his hands he blessed them. While he blessed them, he parted from them and was carried up into heaven.
- He will not let your foot be moved;
he who keeps you will not slumber. - The Lord makes poor and makes rich;
he brings low and he exalts. - We love because he first loved us.
- He must increase, but I must decrease.
- He stores up sound wisdom for the upright;
he is a shield to those who walk in integrity. - And he declared to you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, that is, the Ten Commandments, and he wrote them on two tablets of stone.
- But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay.”
- By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
- Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us.
- He reveals deep and hidden things;
he knows what is in the darkness,
and the light dwells with him. - The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers. May he not leave us or forsake us.
- Cast your burden on the Lord,
and he will sustain you;
he will never permit
the righteous to be moved. - He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it.
- He gives power to the faint,
and to him who has no might he increases strength. - And he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here. See the place where they laid him.”
- When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, “It is finished,” and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
- For he satisfies the longing soul,
and the hungry soul he fills with good things. - So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them. - I sought the Lord, and he answered me
and delivered me from all my fears. - The Lord your God is in your midst,
a mighty one who will save;
he will rejoice over you with gladness;
he will quiet you by his love;
he will exult over you with loud singing. - He only is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress; I shall not be shaken.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.I will praise you with an upright heart,
when I learn your righteous rules. You shall serve the Lord your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from among you.Next verse!With image
