He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, And light dwells with Him.He reveals deep and mysterious things and knows what lies hidden in darkness, though he is surrounded by light.
The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice, And he who begets a wise child will delight in him.The father of godly children has cause for joy. What a pleasure to have children who are wise.
But take careful heed to do the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, to love the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways, to keep His commandments, to hold fast to Him, and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul. But be very careful to obey all the commands and the instructions that Moses gave to you. Love the Lord your God, walk in all his ways, obey his commands, hold firmly to him, and serve him with all your heart and all your soul.
He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.He was despised and rejected— a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care.
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.
Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted.Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins!
For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up.If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble.
For the Lord your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn His face from you if you return to Him.For the Lord your God is gracious and merciful. If you return to him, he will not continue to turn his face from you.
Only fear the Lord, and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.But be sure to fear the Lord and faithfully serve him. Think of all the wonderful things he has done for you.
Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes.
But, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ.Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time.
Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him.
Then Paul said, “John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.”Paul said, “John’s baptism called for repentance from sin. But John himself told the people to believe in the one who would come later, meaning Jesus.”
To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities. When God raised up his servant, Jesus, he sent him first to you people of Israel, to bless you by turning each of you back from your sinful ways.

Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”Then Jesus told him, “You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me.”
For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.Since we have been united with him in his death, we will also be raised to life as he was. We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin.
If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness; we are not practicing the truth.
No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us.

He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son.
