As a father has compassion for his children, so the Lord has compassion for those who fear him. | Like a father has compassion on his children, so Yahweh has compassion on those who fear him. |
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage. | Blessed is the nation whose God is Yahweh, the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance. |
