Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock.Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock.

I called on the Lord in distress; The Lord answered me and set me in a broad place.In my distress I prayed to the Lord, and the Lord answered me and set me free.
And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.What are you waiting for? Get up and be baptized. Have your sins washed away by calling on the name of the Lord.

Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.
