- Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying:
“Whom shall I send,
And who will go for Us?”
Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” - The Lord is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart greatly rejoices,
And with my song I will praise Him. - While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!”
- Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’ ”
- For You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother’s womb.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well. - Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
- I came forth from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father.
- Behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth. And you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spoke concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one word of them has failed.
- For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.
- And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
“Then he cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.’ ” - Then Jesus said to them, “I shall be with you a little while longer, and then I go to Him who sent Me.”
- When all the people were baptized, it came to pass that Jesus also was baptized; and while He prayed, the heaven was opened. And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven which said, “You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.”
- I would have lost heart, unless I had believed
That I would see the goodness of the Lord
In the land of the living. - Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
- In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
- I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
- Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
- So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”
- And you shall be holy to Me, for I the Lord am holy, and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be Mine.
- I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.
- You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.
- Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.
- Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
- And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the commandments of the Lord and His statutes which I command you today for your good?
For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.Behold the proud,
His soul is not upright in him;
But the just shall live by his faith. Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock.Next verse!With image
