- And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
- Is not this the fast that I have chosen?
to loose the bands of wickedness,
to undo the heavy burdens,
and to let the oppressed go free,
and that ye break every yoke? - Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
- This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
- Take with you words, and turn to the Lord: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.
- And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
- Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.
- And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
- Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
- The Lord is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.
- Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
- I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
- If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
- Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me.
- Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
- I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire.
- A fool hath no delight in understanding,
but that his heart may discover itself. - Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.
- Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
- For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
- Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.
- But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
- Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
- And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the Lord am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.
- Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
Turn ye unto me, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the Lord of hosts.Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.Next verse!With image
