I (2/4)

Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire other than you.
I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?I have made a covenant with my eyes; how then could I look upon a virgin?
He must increase, but I must decrease. He must increase, but I must decrease.
Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved; for you are my praise.
I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.I keep the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. If I give away all my possessions, and if I hand over my body so that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.I will extol you, my God and King, and bless your name forever and ever.
For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.I will satisfy the weary, and all who are faint I will replenish.
I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths.I have taught you the way of wisdom; I have led you in the paths of uprightness.
I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples, and I will sing praises to you among the nations.
Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me.Jesus then said, “I will be with you a little while longer, and then I am going to him who sent me.”
Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.Let me hear of your steadfast love in the morning, for in you I put my trust. Teach me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.And it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.But as for me, I will look to the Lord, I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid.
Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.
Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. Therefore I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities for the sake of Christ; for whenever I am weak, then I am strong.
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.A new heart I will give you, and a new spirit I will put within you; and I will remove from your body the heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you. So I will bless you as long as I live; I will lift up my hands and call on your name.
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.I will instruct you and teach you the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. But I punish my body and enslave it, so that after proclaiming to others I myself should not be disqualified.
Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.Protect me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord.So I will display my greatness and my holiness and make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.

But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined. But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I shall come out like gold. My foot has held fast to his steps; I have kept his way and have not turned aside.
