| Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. | God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? | This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. | Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. They are upright, like a palm tree, And they cannot speak; They must be carried, Because they cannot go by themselves. | So shall the knowledge of wisdom be to your soul; If you have found it, there is a prospect, And your hope will not be cut off. | So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off. |
