| I am confident of this: that the one who began a good work in you will bring it to completion on the day of Christ Jesus. | Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. |
| But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them. For it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.” | But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. |
| May the God of perseverance and encouragement grant that you may live in harmony with one another, following in the example of Jesus Christ. | Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus. |
| If you confess with your lips, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. | That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. |
