- Then Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, “If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
- But our citizenship is in heaven, and it is from there that we are expecting a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Teach me your way, O Lord,
that I may walk in your truth;
give me an undivided heart to revere your name. - Therefore, brothers and sisters, be all the more eager to confirm your call and election, for if you do this, you will never stumble. For in this way, entry into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be richly provided for you.
- While he was going and they were gazing up toward heaven, suddenly two men in white robes stood by them. They said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking up toward heaven? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”
- Commit your way to the Lord;
trust in him, and he will act.
He will make your vindication shine like the light,
and the justice of your cause like the noonday. - The Lord is slow to anger but great in power,
and the Lord will by no means clear the guilty.
His way is in whirlwind and storm,
and the clouds are the dust of his feet. - Jesus answered, “Very truly, I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and Spirit.”
- But I do not count my life of any value to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the good news of God's grace.
- On the last day of the festival, the great day, while Jesus was standing there, he cried out, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me.”
- On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. When Paul had laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.
- And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
- Jesus answered them, “Very truly, I tell you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin.”

‘the stone that was rejected by you, the builders;
it has become the cornerstone.’ - For this purpose he called you through our proclamation of the good news, so that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
- Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
- But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.”
- All these were constantly devoting themselves to prayer, together with certain women, including Mary the mother of Jesus, as well as his brothers.
- I am confident of this, that the one who began a good work among you will bring it to completion by the day of Jesus Christ.
- May the God of steadfastness and encouragement grant you to live in harmony with one another, in accordance with Christ Jesus.
- For there is one God; there is also one mediator between God and humankind, Christ Jesus, himself human.
- Be still before the Lord, and wait patiently for him;
do not fret over those who prosper in their way,
over those who carry out evil devices. - When Jesus heard this, he replied, “Do not fear. Only believe, and she will be saved.”
