John 16:33 (3/4)

  • I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand. What my Father has given me is greater than all else, and no one can snatch it out of the Father's hand. The Father and I are one.
  • Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
  • Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?”
  • Whoever serves me must follow me, and where I am, there will my servant be also. Whoever serves me, the Father will honor.
  • You call me Teacher and Lord—and you are right, for that is what I am.
  • So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet.
  • Very truly, I tell you, servants are not greater than their master, nor are messengers greater than the one who sent them.
  • Very truly, I tell you, whoever receives one whom I send receives me; and whoever receives me receives him who sent me.
  • I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.
  • By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.
  • Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me.
  • In my Father's house there are many dwelling places. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?
  • Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
  • If you know me, you will know my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.
  • Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and we will be satisfied.”
  • Very truly, I tell you, the one who believes in me will also do the works that I do and, in fact, will do greater works than these, because I am going to the Father.
  • I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
  • If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
  • And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, to be with you forever.
  • I will not leave you orphaned; I am coming to you.
  • They who have my commandments and keep them are those who love me; and those who love me will be loved by my Father, and I will love them and reveal myself to them.
  • Jesus answered him, “Those who love me will keep my word, and my Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”
  • But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything, and remind you of all that I have said to you.
  • Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid.
  • I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinegrower. He removes every branch in me that bears no fruit. Every branch that bears fruit he prunes to make it bear more fruit.

You have already been cleansed by the word that I have spoken to you.

and why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God; for I shall again praise him,
