- Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
- Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things:
this is known in all the earth. - And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
- I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live:
I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. - To do justice and judgment
is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. - That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.
- The rich ruleth over the poor,
and the borrower is servant to the lender. - Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life.
- For thus saith the Lord unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live.
- Commit thy works unto the Lord,
and thy thoughts shall be established. - But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
- His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
- And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
- Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength.
- Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
- O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name:
make known his deeds among the people. - The entrance of thy words giveth light;
it giveth understanding unto the simple. - For thy mercy is great unto the heavens,
and thy truth unto the clouds. - The statutes of the Lord are right,
rejoicing the heart:
the commandment of the Lord is pure,
enlightening the eyes. - For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.
- Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
- O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good;
for his mercy endureth for ever. - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
- Lying lips are abomination to the Lord:
but they that deal truly are his delight. - And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
Thou wilt shew me the path of life:
in thy presence is fulness of joy;
at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.
