- Teach me your way, Yahweh.
I will walk in your truth.
Make my heart undivided to fear your name. - So then let’s not sleep, as the rest do, but let’s watch and be sober.
- My mouth shall be filled with your praise,
with your honor all day long. - Sing to Yahweh, for he has done excellent things! Let this be known in all the earth!
- Keep your tongue from evil,
and your lips from speaking lies. - Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good.
- Return, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions, so iniquity will not be your ruin.
- I delight to do your will, my God.
Yes, your law is within my heart. - Observe the Sabbath day, to keep it holy, as Yahweh your God commanded you. You shall labor six days, and do all your work; but the seventh day is a Sabbath to Yahweh your God, in which you shall not do any work— neither you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your ox, nor your donkey, nor any of your livestock, nor your stranger who is within your gates; that your male servant and your female servant may rest as well as you.
- May he grant you your heart’s desire,
and fulfill all your counsel. - Let no one deceive himself. If anyone thinks that he is wise among you in this world, let him become a fool that he may become wise.
- Hear, Israel: Yahweh is our God. Yahweh is one. You shall love Yahweh your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might.
- He will not allow your foot to be moved.
He who keeps you will not slumber. - Let no one seek his own, but each one his neighbor’s good.
- “For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
and your ways are not my ways,” says Yahweh. - Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.
- Salvation belongs to Yahweh.
May your blessing be on your people. Selah. - Don’t let him who eats despise him who doesn’t eat. Don’t let him who doesn’t eat judge him who eats, for God has accepted him.
- If we live by the Spirit, let’s also walk by the Spirit.
- Commit your deeds to Yahweh,
and your plans shall succeed. - Now on the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink!”
- Not to us, Yahweh, not to us,
but to your name give glory,
for your loving kindness, and for your truth’s sake. - But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
- Deep calls to deep at the noise of your waterfalls.
All your waves and your billows have swept over me. - He answered them, “He who has two coats, let him give to him who has none. He who has food, let him do likewise.”
In praying, don’t use vain repetitions as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard for their much speaking. Having therefore these promises, beloved, let’s cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.Next verse! With image
