- For whoever finds me finds life,
And obtains favor from the Lord. - And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.

But the poor does not hear rebuke. - Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit.
- Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life. - Keep your heart with all diligence,
For out of it spring the issues of life. - For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.
- “Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?” says the Lord God, “and not that he should turn from his ways and live?”
- Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
- Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes; and they will condemn Him to death, and deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock and to scourge and to crucify. And the third day He will rise again.
- He who keeps instruction is in the way of life,
But he who refuses correction goes astray. - And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
- For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.
- And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.”
- Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
- And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
- And you shall have the tassel, that you may look upon it and remember all the commandments of the Lord and do them, and that you may not follow the harlotry to which your own heart and your own eyes are inclined.
- For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.
