- Go, eat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart, for God has already approved what you do.
- But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in him.
- But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back for yourself part of the proceeds of the land? While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? Why is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to man but to God.”
- And it shall be a tassel for you to look at and remember all the commandments of the Lord, to do them, not to follow after your own heart and your own eyes, which you are inclined to whore after.
- My son, do not forget my teaching,
but let your heart keep my commandments,
for length of days and years of life
and peace they will add to you. - My lips will shout for joy,
when I sing praises to you;
my soul also, which you have redeemed. - For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in him but also suffer for his sake.
- Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you too will abide in the Son and in the Father.
- Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.
- You are a hiding place for me;
you preserve me from trouble;
you surround me with shouts of deliverance. Selah - Since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God.
