The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.Yahweh will fight for you, and you shall be still.
You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.For you need endurance so that, having done the will of God, you may receive the promise.
I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.Not that I speak because of lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it.

But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.
The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?Yahweh is on my side. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?
So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”So that with good courage we say, “The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?”
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters.Yahweh is my shepherd; I shall lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.
All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes’ and your ‘No’ be ‘No.’ Whatever is more than these is of the evil one.
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need.
I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of Yahweh in the land of the living.
And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work.
But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.But as for me, I will look to Yahweh. I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.
If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?But whoever has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, then closes his heart of compassion against him, how does God’s love remain in him?
In you, Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame; deliver me in your righteousness.In you, Yahweh, I take refuge. Let me never be disappointed. Deliver me in your righteousness.
I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.I know how to be humbled, and I also know how to abound. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need.
The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid?Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?
To fear the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech.The fear of Yahweh is to hate evil. I hate pride, arrogance, the evil way, and the perverse mouth.
Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.Give diligence to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn’t need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth.
As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him.As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you don’t need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him.
I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing.”My soul, you have said to Yahweh, “You are my Lord. Apart from you I have no good thing.”
Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.Watch therefore, for you don’t know in what hour your Lord comes.
The Lord is with you when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.Yahweh is with you while you are with him; and if you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.Yahweh is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him.
