We love, because He first loved us.We love each other because he loved us first.
In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.

As he was praying, the heavens opened, and the Holy Spirit, in bodily form, descended on him like a dove. And a voice from heaven said, “You are my dearly loved Son, and you bring me great joy.”
