- No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.
- And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed. - Because I delivered the poor who cried out,
The fatherless and the one who had no helper.
The blessing of a perishing man came upon me,
And I caused the widow’s heart to sing for joy. - By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised.
- You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.
- But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
- Sing to the Lord,
For He has done excellent things;
This is known in all the earth. - Whoever has no rule over his own spirit
Is like a city broken down, without walls. - For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.
- This also comes from the Lord of hosts,
Who is wonderful in counsel and excellent in guidance. - For prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.
- Who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
- The Lord God is my strength;
He will make my feet like deer’s feet,
And He will make me walk on my high hills. - And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
- We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.
- Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.
- Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
- The Lord will perfect that which concerns me;
Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever;
Do not forsake the works of Your hands. - When you make a vow to God, do not delay to pay it;
For He has no pleasure in fools.
Pay what you have vowed.
