Can a man walk on hot coals without his feet being scorched?Or can one walk on hot coals, and his feet not be scorched?
Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”But he said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”
He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your ancestors had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.He humbled you, allowed you to be hungry, and fed you with manna, which you didn’t know, neither did your fathers know, that he might teach you that man does not live by bread only, but man lives by every word that proceeds out of Yahweh’s mouth.
Then what if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before!Then what if you would see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?
No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”God said, “Let’s make man in our image, after our likeness. Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over the livestock, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.While they were there, the day had come for her to give birth. She gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him in bands of cloth and laid him in a feeding trough, because there was no room for them in the inn.
This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles.This poor man cried, and Yahweh heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established.
Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe.The fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in Yahweh is kept safe.
Listen, my son, accept what I say, and the years of your life will be many.Listen, my son, and receive my sayings. The years of your life will be many.
A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings out that which is good, and the evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings out that which is evil, for out of the abundance of the heart, his mouth speaks.
The father of a righteous child has great joy; a man who fathers a wise son rejoices in him.The father of the righteous has great joy. Whoever fathers a wise child delights in him.
The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all.
The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”Yahweh God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him.”
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”Looking at them, Jesus said, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.There are many plans in a man’s heart, but Yahweh’s counsel will prevail.
For the Lord your God will bless you as he has promised, and you will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. You will rule over many nations but none will rule over you.For Yahweh your God will bless you, as he promised you. You will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow. You will rule over many nations, but they will not rule over you.
So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.Therefore also be ready, for in an hour that you don’t expect, the Son of Man will come.
Know then in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the Lord your God disciplines you.You shall consider in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so Yahweh your God disciplines you.
For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members don’t have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”Jesus, looking at them, said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God, for all things are possible with God.”
But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.But you, man of God, flee these things, and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.
Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”But he answered, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of God’s mouth.’”

For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.For this cause a man will leave his father and mother and will be joined to his wife. Then the two will become one flesh.
