Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.
Restore us, Lord God Almighty; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved.Turn us again to yourself, O Lord God of Heaven’s Armies. Make your face shine down upon us. Only then will we be saved.

Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.Live wisely among those who are not believers, and make the most of every opportunity. I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death.I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death.

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.
