- Do not, O Lord, withhold
your mercy from me;
let your steadfast love and your faithfulness
keep me safe forever. - My times are in your hand;
deliver me from the hand of my enemies and persecutors. - And said to them, “Whoever welcomes this child in my name welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me; for the least among all of you is the greatest.”
- The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures;
he leads me beside still waters. - For to me, living is Christ and dying is gain.
- Though an army encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear;
though war rise up against me,
yet I will be confident. - Have mercy on me, O God,
according to your steadfast love;
according to your abundant mercy
blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,
and cleanse me from my sin. - And it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
- Yet I have been the Lord your God
ever since the land of Egypt;
you know no God but me,
and besides me there is no savior. - I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
- I am the vine, you are the branches. Those who abide in me and I in them bear much fruit, because apart from me you can do nothing.
- Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
- O Lord, you have searched me and known me.
You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
you discern my thoughts from far away. - Teach me your way, O Lord,
that I may walk in your truth;
give me an undivided heart to revere your name. - The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and save me for his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
- Let me hear of your steadfast love in the morning,
for in you I put my trust.
Teach me the way I should go,
for to you I lift up my soul. - You call me Teacher and Lord—and you are right, for that is what I am.
- Even though I walk through the darkest valley,
I fear no evil;
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff—
they comfort me. - For thus says the Lord to the house of Israel:
Seek me and live. - The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
because he has anointed me
to bring good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives
and recovery of sight to the blind,
to let the oppressed go free. - If the world hates you, be aware that it hated me before it hated you.
- For whoever finds me finds life
and obtains favor from the Lord. - Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me.
- The spirit of the Lord God is upon me,
because the Lord has anointed me;
he has sent me to bring good news to the oppressed,
to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives,
and release to the prisoners. - Let your face shine upon your servant;
save me in your steadfast love.
Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood abide in me, and I in them.When Jesus heard this, he replied, “Do not fear. Only believe, and she will be saved.” But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to make this freewill offering? For all things come from you, and of your own have we given you.Next verse!With image
