- In the multitude of my anxieties within me,
Your comforts delight my soul. - The Lord is my strength and my shield;

Be acceptable in Your sight,
O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer. - You are my hiding place and my shield;
I hope in Your word. - Your word is a lamp to my feet
And a light to my path. - Turn at my rebuke;
Surely I will pour out my spirit on you;
I will make my words known to you. - Hear my prayer, O Lord,
And give ear to my cry;
Do not be silent at my tears;
For I am a stranger with You,
A sojourner, as all my fathers were. - In my distress I called upon the Lord,

He heard my voice from His temple,

From Him comes my salvation. - My soul, wait silently for God alone,
For my expectation is from Him. - I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.
- He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.
- The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. - When I kept silent, my bones grew old
Through my groaning all the day long.
