- I will exalt you, my God, the King.
I will praise your name forever and ever. - For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them.
- I will be glad and rejoice in you.
I will sing praise to your name, O Most High. - You may say in your heart, “How shall we know the word which Yahweh has not spoken?” When a prophet speaks in Yahweh’s name, if the thing doesn’t follow, nor happen, that is the thing which Yahweh has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You shall not be afraid of him.
- Yes, in the way of your judgments, Yahweh, we have waited for you.
Your name and your renown are the desire of our soul. - All the prophets testify about him, that through his name everyone who believes in him will receive remission of sins.
- Yahweh will be King over all the earth. In that day Yahweh will be one, and his name one.
- Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- Give thanks to Yahweh! Call on his name!
Make his doings known among the peoples. - Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full.
- Those who know your name will put their trust in you,
for you, Yahweh, have not forsaken those who seek you. - Not to us, Yahweh, not to us,
but to your name give glory,
for your loving kindness, and for your truth’s sake. - She shall give birth to a son. You shall name him Jesus, for it is he who shall save his people from their sins.
- But to you who fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in its wings. You will go out and leap like calves of the stall.
- Teach me your way, Yahweh.
I will walk in your truth.
Make my heart undivided to fear your name. - There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
- A good name is more desirable than great riches,
and loving favor is better than silver and gold. - Blessed are you when men hate you, and when they exclude and mock you, and throw out your name as evil, for the Son of Man’s sake.
- But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God’s children, to those who believe in his name.
- But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you.
- I am inquired of by those who didn’t ask.
I am found by those who didn’t seek me.
I said, ‘See me, see me,’ to a nation that was not called by my name. - It is he who builds his rooms in the heavens, and has founded his vault on the earth; he who calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out on the surface of the earth—Yahweh is his name.
- For you are my rock and my fortress,
therefore for your name’s sake lead me and guide me. - Pray like this:
‘Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy.
Let your Kingdom come.
Let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.’ - You didn’t choose me, but I chose you and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you will ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
